There were reports of a shooting on the 1800 block of Bedford Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. today.
Pittsburgh Police responded to the scene to find an adult male shot, lying in a doorway.

When EMS reported soon after they pronounced the man dead at the scene.
There was also a second person at the scene and they were treated and then transported to the hospital in stable condition with a hand injury.
There have been no suspects named yet.
The scene is being processed and the investigation is ongoing.
