SYRACUSE, N.Y.- After a dry first half of this weekend in CNY it appears some occasional wet weather will impact your Sunday off and on.
The area of high pressure that kept us all rain-free on Saturday is in the process of sliding to our south and east.
As this is happening the dry air we had in place will be replaced by moisture from an area or low pressure and it's associated warm front to our west.
The moisture is first working in with increasing clouds tonight but then also as sprinkles and off and on rain showers for Sunday.
When is it supposed to start raining where you live? Check out our PHOTO GALLERY attached to this story for FUTURECAST HOUR-BY-HOUR maps.
In case you are thinking about hitting the links Sunday morning or afternoon, be aware that some of this light to at times moderate rain could affect your game.
Also if you were not able to get your grass cut or tend to any yard work or putting up fall decorations, Sunday morning as early as possible would be ideal otherwise you may need to hold off.
The next best day for doing yardwork or decorating would be Tuesday.
Temperatures this week will continue to be below average for this part of September.
