NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Aggravated menacing: High Perch Drive

On September 18, police responded to a weapons complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with the victims, who reported a man pulled a gun on them after a road rage incident. The driver faces a felony charge of aggravated menacing.

OVI: Hickory Trail

Police were dispatched for a car crash on September 13. Upon arrival, police found the suspected car disabled inside a garage. There were also two unoccupied vehicles that had been hit and moved from the driveway. The suspect was transported to the hospital for his injuries. He was cited for wanton disregard for safety, open container, driving under the influence, and unlawful plates.

Disturbance: Lorain Road

Police were dispatched for an unwanted patron on September 9. The man had an outstanding warrant and was arrested. A search revealed suspected narcotics. The suspect was transported to Lorain County Jail.

Drug investigation: Center Ridge Road

On September 20, police were made aware of a car on US20 that had a stolen license plate. The owner had a felony warrant and possessed narcotics. He was charged with felony possession.

Criminal damaging: Center Ridge Road

A citizen reported several rocks had been thrown at his car’s windshield on September 7.

Failure to comply: Ohio 83

On September 18, police attempted to stop a driver for a traffic violation. The driver failed to comply but was eventually arrested and charged with failure to comply, reckless operation and driving under suspension.

Disturbance: Lorain Road

A woman under the influence of drugs was transported to the hospital after a disturbance on September 19. She was cited for disorderly conduct-intoxication. Additional charges are pending a review of medical records.

Warrant service: Lorain Road

On September 11, police were dispatched for a welfare check. The man in question had a full extradition warrant from Florida. He was transported to Lorain County Jail for extradition.
