BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team finished in third place at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston.
Virginia took the top spot with 27 points followed by Northeastern (97) and Dartmouth (113). Rounding out the top five was La Salle and Gonzaga tied with 170 points.
Corinne Robitaille led the way for the Big Green, finishing eighth with a time of 17:31.
Katherine Strong crossed the finish line at 17:58 to take 20
th. The final three Big Green scoring runners all finished within five seconds of each other with
Emma Kerimo (18:06) finishing in 26
th,
Caroline Livingston (18:07) in 28
th and
Emily Levonas (18:11) in 31
st.
Dartmouth heads to Bethlehem, Pa. next Friday for the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh.
Notes: Dartmouth's third place finish is their best at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown since they finished second in 2016.
