The Phoenix Suns have a huge task ahead of them.

No, it’s not their goal to once again take the Western Conference and return to the NBA Finals.

Instead, their massive challenge is the quest to find a new owner.

Now that Robert Sarver has decided to sell the team, there are a few big names being thrown around as possible candidates to buy the celebrated franchise.

One of those names happens to be Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, according to Ramona Shelburne.

“There’s a lot of names out there, like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos,” Shelburne said.

It’s not surprising to hear that Bezos is attached to the team because he is literally one of the world’s richest people.

Bezos has always been a smart businessman and buying the Suns would be a brilliant business move, especially right now.

Suns Are A Smart Investment

If you were looking to buy an NBA team, you couldn’t do much better than the Suns.

They are located in a wonderful part of the country that is very welcoming to tourism and business with gorgeous weather and ample activities.

But more importantly, the team has been on the upswing for the last few years.

A couple of seasons ago, the Suns reached the Finals, where they were eventually defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks.

And even though they fell apart in the playoffs last season, the Suns are still easily one of the most promising and popular teams in the NBA.

Before the 2022-23 season, the Suns are viewed as true championship contenders even with their troubled postseason.

Bezos would have to put up a lot of money to secure the Suns but he has more than enough to cover the costs.
