A driver was killed in a crash Friday night in Greenville County, according to Lance Corporal Tyler Tidwell with South Carolina Highway Patrol.The accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 276 near Dacusville Road, Tidwell said.According to Tidwell, a car was traveling north on Dacusville Road when it attempted to turn left on U.S. 276 and collided with a Jeep that was traveling east on U.S. 276.The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, where they died, Tidwell said.The coroner identified the victim as Janie Ala Breazeale Batson, 49, of Easley, According to Tidwell, three people in the Jeep were also transported to the hospital.
