Officials: Civil service exams in Suffolk postponed due to cyber intrusion in county

Candidates will be notified of when the tests will be rescheduled.

Suffolk officials say that civil service exams scheduled for Oct. 1 are postponed due to a recent cyber intrusion in the county.
Candidates will be notified of when the tests will be rescheduled.
Suffolk County is still looking to determine the scope of the attack but have confirmed that documents, such as marriage licenses, payment vouchers name change documents and traffic tickets were uncovered.
