'Hay-bales on fire:' Amherst Co. thanks Public Works for their help putting fire out

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WSET) —
Amherst County is thanking the Public Works department for helping with a fire on Tuesday.

They specifically thanked Jermy Lombardo from Public Works.
The county said multiple hay-bales caught fire.
They said Lombardo brought a piece of equipment over from the landfill and was able to quickly separate the bales of hay to stop the fire from spreading.
