Dodgers: Mookie Betts Hits Walk Off, Kimbrel Blows It, Should LA Leave Him Off Postseason Roster?

The Dodgers got the win on Thursday night and rescued Craig Kimbrel from the clutches of a loss once again. Heading into the 9th inning tied 1-1, Dave Roberts turned to Craig Kimbrel to keep the game right there for a chance to walk it off in the bottom of the inning.

He didn’t keep it right there.

Kimbrel served up a go-ahead home run and the Dodger Stadium faithful got restless.

Thankfully, the bats finally woke up in the bottom of the 9th inning and the come from behind win was capped off on a pinch hit walk off single by Mookie Betts.

After the game, we went live and got the reaction of Dodgers Nation on the DNpostgame show!

In the stream, we talk a lot about Kimbrel and his fate on the postseason roster.

  1. I don’t think that Kimbrel is worth his weight in salt, the kitchy walk out song is fun to sing to but other than that he’s USELESS!! Now, having said that our offense has been horrible these last few games and Trea Turner and Gavin Lux have just been terrible in the middle. Do I think the Dodgers should re-sign Trea, absolutely but he needs to get his stuff together!
