Three houseguests remain on Big Brother‘s 24th season… but that $750,000 check can only be made out to one of them.
Monte Taylor, Taylor Hale and Matthew “Turner” Turner have successfully schemed their way to this season’s long-awaited finale, airing Sunday at 8/7c on CBS. And this particular trio is one of the show’s most stacked Final Threes in recent memory: No one here is a floater or perpetual competition dud, dragged along by stronger players to ensure an easy win on finale night. Rather, Monte, Taylor and Turner all have compelling cases they could make to the jury on Sunday, from résumés packed with competition wins to sterling social games.
Ahead of the finale, where one last eviction will determine this year’s Final Two, we want your insight on who will win Season 24 — and who should. (Not always the same person!) First, let’s revisit each houseguest’s current standing in the game:
MONTE | On the competition front, Monte has the best track record of the bunch, with two Head of Household and two Power of Veto victories to his name. Of those wins, his veto triumph on Sept. 8 was perhaps most crucial, allowing him to remove Alyssa from the block and set the stage for Michael’s eviction in one of the summer’s biggest moves. Plus, Monte has kept himself well-protected by allies all season long: From the quartet of The Pound to the dominant Leftovers alliance, Monte surrounded himself with savvy strategists and strong competitive threats, ensuring he’d remain safe even when his opponents — Daniel in Week 5, for example — tried to make him the primary target.
At the moment, the biggest obstacle on Monte’s path to the win is the simple fact that his fellow finalists are also strong contenders for the prize money — and Turner, to whom Monte has been loyal for quite some time, has a résumé so similar to Monte’s that it’s anybody’s guess who the jury might vote for, if those two men are sitting next to each other. Should Monte win the final Head of Household competition, he’ll have a massive, make-or-break decision on his hands when it comes time to evict someone.
TURNER | Turner never clinched any veto wins throughout the summer, but he did serve as HOH a respectable three times — one of which resulted in Michael’s game-changing ouster. And Turner has frequently demonstrated that he’s willing to prioritize gameplay over personal feelings, allowing him to jump from alliance (The Leftovers) to alliance (the short-lived Afterparty) if it meant keeping himself in the game another week.
The flip side of that strategy, of course, is that Turner’s burned bridges have resulted in some poor jury management. We already know he likely won’t get sworn enemy Jasmine’s vote on finale night — but what about Alyssa, who’s still salty that Turner voted to evict her? Or Michael, who left the house during Turner’s HOH reign? Or Joseph, who discovered at Dyre Fest that Turner wasn’t willing to protect him? I like to think this particular jury appreciates Big Brother enough to set personal grievances aside and reward strategy instead; if that’s the case, Turner has a solid chance at the money. If not? He might be destined for second place.
TAYLOR | I can’t recall a Big Brother run that’s shaken out quite like Taylor’s: For one, she likely would have been the season’s first evictee, had Paloma not voluntarily removed herself from the game. But Taylor has also been the target — especially in the summer’s early weeks — of relentless bullying and microaggressions, bookended by Daniel (in Week 1) and Monte (in Week 11) insisting to her face that she’s a cold woman who “rubs people the wrong way.” (And that’s only been the start of her fellow houseguests’ cruel comments and racist assumptions made behind closed doors.)
It’s true that Taylor’s résumé is comparatively thin. She’s been Head of Household twice, but won no vetos; relatedly, her Week 6 HOH reign was a bit of a mess, with ever-changing targets and emotional gameplay clouding her judgment. But we can’t rule out Taylor’s superb social game: Despite being arbitrarily targeted in Week 1 and nominated a total of five times, Taylor evaded eviction on all of those occasions, which speaks to her positive relationships with the other players. Plus, she doesn’t appear to have made many enemies on the jury — a group of people that seems to admire Taylor’s against-all-odds longevity in the game. That affection toward her, coupled with Taylor’s pair of HOH wins, could very well get her the votes she needs to become Big Brother‘s first-ever Black female winner.
Those are our thoughts, but now, we want yours. Cast your votes below (or go here and here) to weigh in on who will and should win Season 24, then hit the comments to back up your choices.
Monte winning the veto to get out Michael was epic.
The expression on Joseph’s face when he heard that Taylor was with Monte sums up the whole season. With Taylor jumping from man to man I can’t see how she is America’s favorite.
Turner had a golden opportunity to eliminate Taylor and now it could come back to bite him.
It did
“jumping from man to man” … she had a friendship with Joseph and only was physical with Monte. What a disgusting comment, would never been made about a man.
Taylor only ‘jumped’ to Monte after being my gaslit and lied to about Joseph’s actions. If she was told the truth this never would have happened
Don’t agree! She never believed it about Joseph! Plus, She said she was becoming friends with Monte to help herself. She was friends with Brittany for the same reason. As people kept leaving she got more and more flirty with Monte. I’m sorry but I don’t like that game play. GoTurner or Monte!
You mean you dont like that from a WOMAN. Double standards are so annoying.
Agreed.
Jumping from man to man? Taylor was never with Joseph. She owes him nothing. They were friends with an attraction. And I bet you anything that Taylor wins AFH by a landslide.
Taylor sure isn’t my favorite! She’s done nothing much but be carried and a couple of HOH’s. No way should she win!
Joseph and Taylor didn’t even kiss. These are grown adults. Taylor can do what she wants. Don’t be weird. She is definitely Amerca’s favorite.
I dknt think so
Jumping from man to man?? Taylor never kissed Joseph or got into any type of relationship with him so…what you talkin’ about Willis??
Taylor’s journey has been great but it doesn’t qualify her to win the game. AFP yes. Monte or Turner deserve the game win.
Taylor has won two HOHs – which is more than 75% of the players on the cast. Shes been on the block 6(?) times and survived. She absolutely deserves to win.
You do you 🤷♀️
And you do you. Byeee
I’ll never understand why people have to get mad just because someone has a different opinion 😅😅
Ask a democrat.
THIS!
100%
Taylor kept blabbing like she did tonite.
Monte needs to win but tgese ppl not sure of this jury.
Thank you! She was in jeopardy more times than anyone. She was a target so many times. She was public enemy number 1 for the first month. As an underdog who was not a floater nor did she fly under the radar. She did all of this while showcasing grace and class. She deserves to win.
In jeopardy because of her mouth, Saved because of the leftovers, carried because of Joseph and in the final three because of a fluke! Brittany at least tried to figure a number on that last HOH. Brittany was only about 200 and something over. Taylor threw up her hands and said “Oh well!” She don’t deserve to win! Not strategic at all!
What season were you watching? 🤣 How did Joseph carry her when he didn’t win a damn thing all season? I’ll wait!
No, she didn’t do anything to warrant the massive hate, isolation and bullying. These people wrote her off in hour three, giving her zero chance to come back, and she didn’t even do anything wrong.
Brittany was 1000 over in her tiebreaker, she guessed 2100 or something and the answer was 1000.
Taylor also convinced Monte/Turner to get out Michael because at that point, Monte/Turner were still game to get out a woman because of their ridiculous and unfounded fear of the women over the comp beast.
Don’t forget most of the people commenting here don’t watch the live feeds. But what’s so funny to me is that they don’t care there is more to it than what they show on episodes.
Grace and class? How is going on weird power trips, getting mad every time she was nominated, making rude comments to Monte about is niece (as well as making fun of players to their faces on the live feeds which I saw several several times), grace and class? lol no. If she was a good player she could have avoided the block.
So what. Lots ppl are on the block she only 2 hoh she said 3 sge was wrong last one was number with britney. She had allergies number. That was 2. I dont care for her and Joseph think voted for her shoukd had been monte. .
I’m scared cuz monte was better player andvperson
Taylor went to man to man
Turner has won 3 HOH’s and Monte has won 2 + 2 vetos… Her being on the block so many times proves that she played the game POORLY lol not well. A good player is able to avoid the block as much as possible. She had zero strategy the entire game.. please go watch it again. Like she didn’t deserve to be bullied, but she def doesn’t deserve to win.
No she dont
No she dont being on tge block is nothing turner shoukd had voted her out.
Anyone who has made it this far “deserves” to win otherwise they wouldn’t be here. IMO, the social game is the really important one. If you don’t win any comps but manage to cultivate the right relationships and manage to last that is as valuable as winning comps to survive. And in the end it will be ALL about how well the remaining three managed relationships among the people on the jury. I would say Taylor has done as well there, if not better in some cases, than Monte or Turner.
I was excited to watch the cookout last season! I should not have taken 23 seasons and a 22 years for a person of color to win. However watching shan on survivor and this season of big brother the fun of the games are almost gone. I’m hoping this season of survivor and next season of big brother we can just play the games as intended moving forward.
Sorry but the Cookout is the most racist alliance ever to be on BB. All of them went on with one agenda and that was to eliminate every white person so a black person/person of color could win and they had absolutely no problem with saying that right out through out that whole season. If it had been a group of white people saying outright that they will vote off every person of color the whole white race would have been dragged through the mud and BB would have made an announcement about how they don’t condone racism. And it didn’t stop with that season, it carried over to this one. Kyle got dragged over the coals and made out to be a racist when his comment about certain people maybe trying to repeat the cookout was not racist it was an observation and a thought that crossed his mind and anyone who says they wouldn’t think that way is full of it. Then you have Taylor who flat out said she wouldn’t nominate/vote out a black women. She should have been called out by the fans for racism but wasn’t because she is a black woman not a white woman. You also have Terrance who again flat out said he wanted another black man to win. He too was being racist but never got called out by fans. Racism is not only done by white people as the last 2 seasons of BB has proved and the fans need to stop being bias and call out the racism from both sides not just one.
I agree with what you said about Kyle, Taylor and Terrance. The thing about this season is the cast is actually great! I liked everyone minus Nicole and Daniel. Paloma I didn’t know about and she made a mistake. I honestly think it would be nice to bring back the exact same 16 people next season. I think regardless of what happened all of them have gone through some personal growth. It would be cool for a redux type of season. These 16 people have potential to give us the best season of big brother and they were on their way until the Kyle crap went down.
you hit that one on the nose. I have thought the same, as many others. Thanks for speaking out.. I could not have said it better.
So done explaining this to people who either don’t, won’t, can’t comprehend why the Cookout was necessary to form. Watching the privileged complain about injustice is a special kinda irony! 🤯 But they say birds if a feather flock together!
I feel exactly the same way. I will not be watching BB again
Luna why do you think there had never been a black person to ever win BB in 22 seasons (not because they were incapable) — but because the playing field was never fair. Up until season 23, you may have had 1 to maybe 3 persons of color to participate in the game. This was a disadvantage because those 1-3 persons of color never stood a chance because the numbers to stay in the game were never on their side. No one ever said anything about anybody being a racist as long as the white participants were winning every year. So people of color start to team up like the white participants have done all 22 seasons, now it’s considered racist. Just because the white participants didn’t spell it out or say it in that way, we as people of color know what the deal was and the white participants knew too.
What season is this again?
Only the second one with an actual diverse cast aka season 24.
None of them deserve to win. It should have been Michael. Oh well … there’s always next year.
Michael beat himself. He should have thrown some comps to make himself less of a target and I’m sorry but if he was offended by what Kyle said, he should have addressed it right away rather than using it strategically to save his and/or Brittany’s butt. That was gross. He should have been called out MORE for that.
He talked way too much, manipulated way too obviously and… he was kind of a jerk on the way out. I was glad he left.
I can see Turner beating Taylor if the girls don’t wanna vote for Taylor to win. Both of them lose to Monte.
Very smart and strategic playing game to win, over all odds that came at her, throughout the entire game, and great planning in advance.
Turner deserves to win, but sadly I think Monte wins. Taylor is already eliminated from the final HOH, and both guys are LIKELY taking each other. And Monte just has more respect in the jury than Turner. I feel like Turner has not only been the nicest player all season, but has done the most without having to be dirty. I really wish he would win.
No!Turner is a dirty rat! But, a good one! Go Turner!🤣🤣🤣
Monty and Turner played an outstanding game against All the Odds and opposition in Masterminding And strategizing. as the Leftovers verses Taylor who was a Cry Baby and just riding on the Coat of others and playing on other’s sympathy to stay in the game. Beside flonting around in Formal wear and slushy. Clothes around the guys to draw Attention. How she can Be America’s favorite? Turner was a good Liar and player who tell people what they wanted to hear and drag it out to the end therefore stuck with Monte until all the Foes were evicted.
From what we See she was very vulnerable in being attacked. She was Not a strong player Strategying or plotting; she mostly went along to get along to stay in the game. She probably didn’t know she was doing. Then later in game she tries to play this Evil Vindictive Witch. Hope Monty ditch her and Good Luck to him and Turner.
I do not agree with Taylor’s social game you laid out! No punt intended! She was save by a group of people that felt sorry for her! She then started a flirtship with Joseph and he kept her safe! Then she jump on Monte and tagged along til the end! She definitely don’t deserve to win it! Anyone but her can win. Go Turner!
I find it amazing you are actually saying she used her feminine wiles to get ahead. That’s absolute rubbish. Taylor and Joseph FLIRTED with each other. It was not one-sided. She didn’t manipulate him. There are so many clips on Twitter to prove you are wrong. He asked her Joseph: Am I wrong here or is something there. An attraction? Taylor: No. You are not wrong. They were friends who were attracted to each other. They never even kissed. I find it hilarious that you have accused Taylor of this when it’s literally what happened between Alyssa/Kyle.
I would love to see Monte and Turner the final 2.. Don’t want to see Taylor winning…
There will not be another black winner this season at least not back to back.
Reality shows are not kind to minority very little do win. The true show without others having a say is Imazing Race.
This comment is very racist to say that another Black won’t win on this BB again because the TV show allow it is totally BS!!!
Monte deserves the win and if he doesn’t get it I would be very surprised. He’s play a great social game plus won a lot throughout the season but if not him than Turner. Monte & Turner final two! Hope Taylor gets voted out! She doesn’t deserve the win and she’s floated all season!
The racial bs on Kyle wasn’t any less racist as Taylor and her black woman not being evicted bs.
I can’t believe this show is still on after all these years!
I vote TAYLOR
The roadmap to winning seems to be be on the right side of the numbers, win when you need to and be a good player but not the biggest target.
Taylor is the only true winner.
This season was filled with racisms and not worth my time. Taylor is just out for being 1st black woman. Turner has no loyalty to anyone.i hate what they did to Kyle he was only stating an observation but it’s ok for Taylor to say she wants to be 1st black woman
I want Taylor to win but unless Monte decided to stick with his promise and mission of bringing a black woman to the final I don’t see it happening. Monte played a good game but he’s boring. Turner was fun to watch when he wasn’t being an a- hole. Taylor had the best social game out of everyone. She got her haters rooting for her. Truly the best underdog story. If Taylor wasn’t on this season I would be all in for Michael to win since he’s a comp beast and very strategic. Too bad he was too loyal to his word and didn’t get Turner out when he had the chance. But at least it got rid of Kyle with Terrance on his heels.
Taylor only got to where shes at by cuddling up to various men and snaking around the women. Her game play was shameful and she should not win!!!!
shes the one who started the racial business by stating she wont put up a black woman, so how else were the rest of the house guests supposed to judge what was going on.
How does anyone think Taylor deserves to win? She’s not a nice person and she has played a terrible game. Montes nice and has the most comp wins, but wasn’t strategic enough. Turner hands down has the best resume and was the most strategic. Everyone needs to go watch the season over and realize whats up.
If you’ve watched the feeds you’ll see how nice Taylor truly was. Taylor, Michael and Joseph were the nicest on the whole season. Monte is a misogynist and Turner has only followed orders. It took Michael’s rope breaking just for him to make it this far. Both Taylor and Monte were protected.
Way shoukd taylor win she didn’t win hardly nothing with comps and nothing strategic. Monte strung her along .
Shoukd had ten turner mite cost him hope not cuz he deserves it not taylor. I’d be mad if she won
Taylor doesn’t deserve the win. A little tired of the ethnic play for sympathy. Will consider skipping future shows. It is suppose to be for entertainment not group protests. And jumping from man to man is not impressive of any female who represents. I would be ashamed if it were my daughter.
