The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office has identified one suspect in a deadly home invasion in Hammond.
The sheriff's office says 18-year-old Omarion Hookfin, of Hammond, was one of the men who entered the home on Rufus Bankston Rd. September 12, when 32-year-old Donte Perry was shot and killed. Perry's 12-year-old daughter was critically wounded after being shot several times.
Hookfin is currently wanted on several counts, including:
(1) count First Degree Murder
(2) counts Attempted First Degree Murder
(1) count Armed Robbery
(2) counts Aggravated Kidnapping
Hookfin is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Hookfin's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at (985) 345-6150, or Crimestoppers of Tangipahoa Parish at (800) 554-5245. Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
