After weeks of continuous social media teasing, Sam Smith and Kim Petras finally dropped their joint single "Unholy" on Sept. 22. Leading up to the highly anticipated release, thousands of TikTok creators posted videos of themselves dancing along to the track's seductive, bass-filled chorus, in which Smith croons, "Mommy don't know Daddy's getting hot at the body shop / Doing something unholy."

Though several popular routines are circulating on the app, 21-year-old dancer Kevin Bannier's choreography has gone the most viral, inspiring a challenge even Petras herself has attempted at home. Bannier's dance starts with a sultry strut and launches into a sequence of fast-paced moves as soon as the heavy bass drops. Thankfully, after several requests from his TikTok followers, he filmed a slowed-down step-by-step tutorial so everyone can memorize it before hitting the club.

Meanwhile, TikTokers have been using "Unholy" to soundtrack everything, from thirst traps and dramatic outfit transitions to pole-dancing videos and makeup transformations. Other musically talented creators are performing their own renditions of the song with a twist, such as Amanda Sze's saxophone cover, which earned two heart-eye emoji from Smith.

Read ahead to watch Bannier's helpful tutorial, along with our favorite "Unholy" dance challenge clips thus far.
