EUREKA, Ill. — Eureka College will be a buzz with runners Saturday morning…as they “Run with Reagan”.
The event coincides with Eureka College’s 100th Homecoming this weekend.
So, will someone be dressed as President Ronald Reagan, their most famous alum?
“We have a really cool cut-out of him from his college days in his football uniform…that’s in the lead car,” Eureka College Cross Country Coach Chris Robinson says.
Robinson tells WMBD’s “The Greg and Dan Show”, race proceeds will benefit the Ronald Reagan Society of Eureka College and the Red Devil XC & Distance team.
“Run with Reagan” race day registration and packet pick up will begin Saturday at 7 a.m.
“We’ll kick the run off with a little Kids’ Dash at 8 a.m., then at 8:15 the race and fun walk will start,” Robinson says.
The race will be followed by a pancake breakfast on campus for participants.
