This season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we were introduced to new peach holder Sanya Richards-Ross, who quickly made an impact with her infectious smile and proud Jamaican heritage — and soon found herself involved in drama with some of the ladies.

And as you can see in the clip above, Sanya loves sharing insight into her culture as she explains “three Jamaican phrases” and their meanings. (Yes, we’re intrigued!) Sanya starts off on a positive note by explaining one phrase that basically means what goes around comes around. “Long run, short catch,” she states in the video.

The RHOA cast member also mentions one phrase that she wants to use on a few of the RHOA ladies. Want to hear that saying? Let her explain, above.

By welcoming Sanya to the cast of RHOA, the show also gave us the opportunity to meet her husband, Aaron Ross, who stood up for his wife during the cast trip to Jamaica. In the video above, Sanya expresses a few words of admiration for her life partner and gives advice on how to make a marriage work.
