Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks fans are in for a bumpy ride next week, as the show's much-anticipated autumn stunt week is upon us.
Silas is making a sinister return for an unmissable set of episodes, which will see at least one death, an exit, a proposal, a bombshell and much, much more...
1. Silas sets Olivia a deadly task
Silas has set Olivia with a deadly task – she must bring him Bobby, or he will kill Mercedes.
Olivia desperately tries to get Bobby alone, but when the mounting pressure of Silas's voice in her head proves too much for her, she tells Prince everything.
2. The McQueens fear for Mercedes
The McQueen family aren't in the partying spirit as they need to find Mercedes, who has gone missing.
They decide to go to the police, but a cryptic message from Silas warns them against it.
3. Dave and Diane grow closer
Dave jumps to Diane's rescue when she can't move the escape room, and a tractor saves the day.
The carnival soon gets into full swing with Diane as the ringmaster – but then tragedy strikes...
4. Silas reveals his sinister plan
Silas appears live from the McQueens' household via webcam as they realise he has been listening to them this whole time.
The family are warned that playing games is the only way to keep them alive.
Theresa and Goldie find themselves trapped in an escape room, while John Paul is forced to face his demons.
Theresa and Goldie soon learn the rule of the escape room – only one of them can get out of there alive. Will they agree on who should live?
5. There's a shock death
As the action-packed week draws to a close, Mercedes is running for her life trying to find a way out of Silas's lair.
Silas later challenges the McQueens to a game of chess, and the electrified board proves to be fatal.
When a member of the McQueen family wakes up in a prison cell the following day, they must explain themselves following a death at the folly yesterday. But who loses their life?
6. Joel is left terrified over Norma
Joel finds a leaflet to his own funeral service in his pocket – a threat from Norma.
He tells Warren that he can't take it anymore, but his dad sets out to deal with it, as no-one messes with his kids and gets away with it.
7. Warren makes a life-changing discovery
Warren sets out to kill Norma after realising that she set him up to kill his own son. However, a huge revelation from Norma changes everything for Warren.
As he recovers in hospital – after falling from a great height at the carnival – Warren is reeling from the heart-stopping news he received.
Needing to know more, Warren becomes determined to get answers.
8. Shaq and Verity find themselves in danger
Amid all the chaos, an unsuspecting Shaq and Verity – who were racing each other on the climbing wall – find themselves stuck up there when a bomb goes off.
They have no option to keep climbing, but one of them is in serious danger of falling when another explosion goes off. Will they both get out alive?
9. James revaluates his future
Leela and Ste are shocked to see James turn up for a shift at the gym, and decide to put him through his paces. James lets Ste in on his plan to tell the police all he knows about Norma, and asks him to join him, but Ste doubts his motivations.
James is later delighted when Verity gives him his job back on the condition he mans the hook-a-duck stall at the carnival.
He also wants his man back, so he plans to meet up with Ste later to sort their relationship out. But what will Ste say about this?
10. An exit and a proposal
In the final episode of the week, someone decides to leave the village in the fallout of the devastating carnival disaster.
Elsewhere, there is an unexpected proposal...
