Spirit Lake Basement Fire


Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)–No injuries were reported following a basement fire in Spirit Lake Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were call to 3725 Ithica Avenue at approximately 12:44 yesterday. Smoke was coming from the rear of the home and crews found a small fire in the basement which was quickly extinguished. Minor damage was caused.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
