MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three people were hurt early Thursday morning after a rollover crash in Montgomery County.

The crash happened on westbound Interstate 70 at the 185-mile marker around 3:20 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said an SUV driven by 20-year-old Jorge M. Asher, of Clark, Missouri, rolled over after the vehicle went off the right side of the interstate.

Crews took two passengers, 53-year-old Karen Wroe, of Bakersfield, California, and 57-year-old Paul L. Busto, of Clark, Missouri, to University Hospital in Columbia. Wroe was treated for serious injuries and Busto was treated for moderate injuries.

An MU Health Care spokesman said Wroe and Busto are both in good condition as of Friday morning.

Emergency crews also took Asher to University Hospital with minor injuries. The health care provider reported Asher was treated and released.

Troopers said all three were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
