Craft beer, food and live music will crank up the entertainment on Charleston’s West Side this weekend when the annual OktoberWest returns.
Organizers said Charleston Main Streets' largest fundraiser on the West Side is scheduled 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.
The event will take place in the 200 and 300 blocks of Washington Street West, 600 block of Tennessee Avenue and the 700 block of Bigley Avenue.
All funds raised will go directly back into Charleston’s West Side for programs, public art and other community and economic revitalization projects, according to a news release from Charleston Main Streets.
Now in its 14th year, the ticketed event will feature more than 150 German, OktoberWest and traditional craft brews, district restaurants, six local food vendors and an entertainment zone.
Last year, the event drew a record 2,300 people after a two-year, COVID-19 hiatus.
