ANTWERP, New York (WWNY) - New York State Police is investigating a crash between two pickup trucks in the Town of Antwerp Friday morning, which caused one of them to roll into a ditch.

Crews were called to Star Factory Road around 7:45 a.m.

Officials say the pickups collided at the intersection with County Route 194.

State Police say a 2005 Nissan pickup truck, operated by Cody C. Wilson, 23, of Philadelphia, was traveling south on Houghton Road. They say Wilson stopped at the stop sign at County Route 194 when he failed to observe a 2012 Ford pickup truck operated by Christopher Jenkins, 45, of Hermon that was traveling on County Route 194.

Police say Wilson struck the rear passenger side of Jenkins’ truck, causing the truck to leave the roadway and come to rest on its side.

No injuries were reported.

Wilson was issued two tickets in the crash. Failure to Yield the Right of Way at Stop Sign and Inadequate Brakes.
