Candidates for Peoria mayor will debate 7-8 p.m. on Oct. 5 at Arizona Broadway Theatre in an event sponsored by The Arizona Republic.

Peoria voters will select the city's first new mayor in eight years in the Nov. 8 election. Both candidates, Jason Beck and Bridget Binsbacher, have agreed to participate.

The forum will be held in the Encore Room of the theater, just south of Bell Road at 7701 W. Paradise Lane, Peoria.

The aim is to provide a debate that helps voters learn more about candidates and their visions for the city.

How to submit a question

Carrie Watters, city editor for The Republic, will serve as moderator. She will pose questions submitted by residents the night of the event as well as questions from Republic reporters.
