A Fort Worth man is behind bars for leading Parker County deputies on a long, high-speed chase in a pick-up truck towing a construction trailer Thursday.

Parker County Sheriff Deputies tried to pull Charles Ferris over in Springtown for a broken headlight. But the truck sped off with deputies right behind.

Police say they chased the suspect for 15 miles at speeds of up to 100 miles an hour. He was driving so fast that pallets were flying off the trailer.

The chase ended up on Jacksboro Highway heading east into Tarrant County but eventually Ferris gave it up and he was arrested on a string of charges that include evading arrest.
