GARDEN CITY – The Hays High Indians girls golf team combined
to shoot a 329 and won the Garden City Invitational by 60 shots Thursday at
Buffalo Dunes golf course.
The 329 team school set a new 18 hole tournament record breaking the previous record of 331 set in 2011.
The Indians were led by Katie Dinkel’s second place finish. She turned in a seven-over 79. Evyn Cox was fourth with an 82, Abbie Norris was one shot back in fifth and Jaycee Oakley placed sixth with an 85.
