Coming off an excellent finish in the Taylor County Invitational last weekend, the Russell County High School Mighty Laker Marching Band is back competing tomorrow at Adair County High School in the annual Mark Twain Invitational event.
The band is scheduled to perform at 3 p.m. with final performances getting underway at 6:30 p.m. Finals awards will begin around 9:15 p.m. tomorrow evening.
The band, under the direction of Curtis Ervin and Haley Harrington, finished as reserve grand champion in last week’s competition and will look to build on that finish with another strong showing on Saturday.
