After her recent debut as an official Coach on "The Voice US" last Monday, Camila Cabello made a huge move in her music career recently - leaving her initial music label, Epic Records.

Epic Records helped the former "Fifth Harmony" star to kickstart her music career. Cabello has released a total of three studio albums on the label - "Camila," "Romance," and finally, "Familia." The first two albums were certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, marking 1 million units sold in the United States.

According to an exclusive Variety report, Camila Cabello has finally inked a deal with Universal Music Group's Interscope Records, joining a roster of prominent pop stars in the music industry. Pop Crave reports an updated list of artists signed with the label.

Being an exclusive tidbit, Interscope Records and Epic Records have yet to comment on the 25-year-old singer's recent big career move.

The switching of music labels is not something that Camila Cabello has done on a whim, she contemplated the desire to gain musical independence earlier this year. She hinted at this move in an April interview with Variety.

"If I can't stand behind [a song] and want to perform it, let's not put it out, because it's just going to turn into some weird thing where I never wanna fucking sing it again, and it's all because I didn't listen to myself," Cabello said at the time, referring on how she had her music approved by many people before rollout.

Camila Cabello has been with Epic Records since 2013, upon the creation of Fifth Harmony. Her deal with the music label is in partnership with Simon Cowell's Syco Music, in which Louis Tomlinson has also left too.

Now, apart from her controversial departure from Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello is definitely making her name out there, especially with her new job as a full-time Coach at "The Voice US."

Coach Camila Cabello on 'The Voice US'

Earlier this week, Camila Cabello debuted on primetime television as a Coach Camila on "The Voice US." Already grabbing two four-chair-turners, Team Camila is on the road to dishing out the competition from veteran coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.

The "Bam Bam" singer has also ignited an on-screen banter with Country music icon Blake Shelton, who is apparently "threatened" with her as she managed to seal two big voices on the first episode, leaving the 22-season coach empty-handed so far.
