El Paso Children's Hospital pediatric care patients received a special treat thanks to Texas-owned Kendra Scott.
Kids and their families were given a special moment that allowed them to customize their very own pieces of designer jewelry on Thursday.
The jewelry store brought the opportunity to the El Paso Children's Hospital at 4845 Alameda Avenue.
Our Kendra Cares Color Bar basically gives the patients the experience they would get if they came to one of our retail stores,” Iliana Silva Marketing & Philanthropic Manager, Kendra Scott's representative, said. “They get to design their own jewelry. It allows them to become the designer. They pick out not only the type of jewelry that they want, but they also get to choose the type of stone in a variety of colors.
Kids were able to craft the pieces from the metal, shapes, and the color of the stones.
The Kendra Cares program brings the store patients and caregivers to over 30 participating hospitals.
This is the second year the program hosts the event at the hospital.
