Arlene Ann Neely, 80, of Morgantown passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at her home. Arlene was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Star City, a daughter of the late Samuel Gregg and Dorothy Good Gregg.
Arlene was a homemaker, who had many interests. She loved to cook and was a great artist. She also loved being outdoors gardening and camping at Springfield and Turkey Hill in Wana.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary Lee Neely; daughter, Debbie Ann Snyder (Bud), of Westover; son, Daniel Scott Neely (Rebecca), of Morgantown; grandchildren, Corey Buzzo (Morgan), Chelsea Buzzo (Zack), Caitlyn Sine (Reno), Josh Neely (Dionna), Hannah Neely, Danielle Neely and Kameron Neely; great-grandchildren, Rylee McCollum, Izaiah Erdie, Kayden Sine, Takoda Sine, Haidyn Neely and Jozi Neely; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her sisters, Kay Christopher (Jack), Hazel Fox (Bill), Rose Nicklin (Bob), Patty Goodnight (Arthur), Connie Nagy (Charles), Clara Huggins (Charlie), Dottie Dezzutti (Paul) and Sadie Noone (Bill); brothers, George Gregg (Peggy), Dick Gregg (Joann), Samuel Gregg (Alma) and John Gregg; and great-granddaughter Madilyn Erdie.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, and again from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service on Monday, Sept. 26 with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services.
