Following Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars premiere, pro Sasha Farber revealed that he had been rushed out of the ballroom to undergo an emergency surgery. After his incredible performance, Farber revealed that he had to go straight to the dentist for an emergency surgery.

Sasha Farber Underwent 2 Emergency Surgeries

After stealing the show with celebrity partner Selma Blair, Sasha Farber had to be rushed out of the ballroom and to the dentist. Within Farber’s post DWTS Instagram stories, he shared a photo of him wearing a gas mask beside his dentist. It was clear that the photo was taken minutes before the procedure began. Although he did not share any information about the reason behind his sudden dental surgery, he still kept fans updated.

Following the surgery, Farber shared another photo to confirm that his surgery was done. Within the photo, Sasha Farber is seen with his dog and wrote that he is doing well after the surgery.

“Had to rush to emergency surgery, but all good and in bed ready for tomorrow. Still on a high about tonight, it was truly inspiring CAN’T wait for tomorrow,” he wrote.

On Thursday, September 22, Farber posted yet another Instagram story at the dentist. It’s important to note, Farber reportedly did return to rehearsals following his original surgery. Although he still didn’t reveal the source of his pain, he wrote on his Instagram story: “I don’t want to be in pain anymore this is the last one.”

Audience members and at home viewers were in tears after witnessing the amazing performance the team delivered. Their performance on the show was moving and meaningful because of what Selma had to overcome to deliver it.

Dealing with MS while competing in a dance show is no easy feat, but Selma still manages to do so. The 51-year-old actress ditched the cane to lean on her partner, and together, they danced the Viennese waltz. The pair danced to David Cook’s poignant track, “Time of My Life,” and seeing them gracefully glide through the dance floor can bring tears to anyone watching.

Sasha Seems to Be Doing Well Amid Separation From Fellow Pro Emma Slater

Although Farber and fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater have spent many years as a married couple, it seems like their love story has come to an end. The couple publicly announced their split in August and have agreed to remain on good terms with each other. After Selma and Sasha’s debut dance, Slater revealed in an interview that watching their dance brought her to tears.

“I was streaming with tears. It’s just something that is so indescribable,” the ballroom pro said.

She revealed that the dance was extremely inspiring given her chronic illness. Slater, Farber, and Selma were recently spotted together in public, which practically confirmed that the former couple has remained friends following their separation. Fans hope to see Farber back in the ballroom this Monday for week two which will be Elvis night.

All I can say is that after YEARS of watching DWTS, I can no longer watch the show because someone decided to take it off the network and put it on the Disney Channel. Being 61 years old, there is absolutely no reason for me to get that Channel just to watch one show. So unfortunately, I can no longer watch one of my favorite shows. At least So you think you can Dance is still available on the networks. Bring back this show to the networks so that the older crowd can enjoy the show too!!!

Have been furious that Disney slapped a lot of loyal DWTS fans in the face taking it off ABC. I have watched the show since Season 1 faithfully. Our DISH bill is big enough and I am refusing to line Disney’s pockets any more. I won’t pay for one show. Good luck to all the talented professionals. You will be missed.
