Just because some don’t consider it a planet anymore doesn’t mean Pluto won’t be celebrated in Streator.
The annual “Pluto Fest” returns this Saturday at City Park in Streator. Between 10 and 3, there will be a farmers market, live music, home brew beer tasting and craft and food vendors. A variety of food trucks will also be parked at “Pluto Fest” as part of a food truck festival.
Streator’s own Clyde Tombaugh is credited with discovering Pluto in 1930.
