KILLINGWORTH, Conn. (WTNH) — Nearly a dozen crews responded to a house fire in Killingworth Thursday morning.
Fire officials said the blaze broke out at a single-family home on North Chestnut Hill Rd. around 9 a.m.
Crews from Haddam, Chester, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Clinton, Madison, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook provided mutual aid at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
North Chestnut Hill Road was closed but has since reopened.
