SIKESTON—Route YY in Pemiscot County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route T to County Road 375 near Portageville.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
Southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-ft width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance from mile marker 16.6 to mile marker 14.8 south of Hayti.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 5 and Thursday, Oct. 6 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
