Teens arrested in Seymour after driving 111 mph, police say
Two teenagers were arrested in Seymour on Wednesday morning during a traffic stop.Indiana State Police said they stopped a car driving 111 mph in a 70 mph zone around 10 a.m. When they investigated the incident further, police said they found the driver had an alcoholic beverage and a "look-a-like" marijuana substance.ISP said the driver was arrested on charges of reckless driving, possession of an alcoholic beverage by a minor and dealing a look-a-like substance.The other teenager in the car was found to be a missing/wanted person, according to ISP. They said he was wanted on felony charges of burglary with a deadly weapon, robbery and failure to appear.Police also said they found fake guns in the car.Both teens were taken to Jackson County jail initially but were later taken into custody at a juvenile detention center.
