A New Hyde Park man charged with seriously injuring a Nassau County police officer has admitted to driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

A New Hyde Park man charged with seriously injuring a Nassau County police officer has admitted to driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
The Suffolk County district attorney's office says Keith Dillon crashed into an unmarked police car on New Year’s Day 2018 on Glen Cove Road in Greenvale.
Police tell News 12 Dillon’s blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit. Cocaine and Xanax were also found in his car, according to officials.
He will be sentenced in October to at least six years behind bars
