The complete list of clues for every The Masked Singer season 8 contestant

Can you guess which famous face is under each mask?

Many things have changed on The Masked Singer stage over the years, but one thing has remained mercifully the same — the clue packages.

Each season, all of the contestants get their own batch of cryptic hints and references to help the audience at home figure out who is under the masks, and season 8 is no different. And like each season before it, EW is rounding up all of the info to be gleaned from each clue package, as well as what happens during the singers' time on stage, and the latest guesses from panelists Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke.

Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about each of these new contestants. Can you figure out who's under the mask?

THE MASKED SINGER
Harp on 'The Masked Singer' season 8. FOX

Harp

Clue package:

  • "Life does have a funny way of putting you exactly where you need to be," she says to start the first clue package
  • She's shown being judged at the pearly gates of Heaven
  • She auditioned for "the biggest show in the world" as a teen, but she didn't "fit the mold" and was turned down
  • She's shown dancing, and later seen wiping tears away
  • Even though she was devastated, Harp later got the opportunity of a lifetime and became "an idol for anyone that felt like an outsider"
  • "The no's in my life made me stronger, but I am not taking no for an answer tonight"
  • Binoculars, a call sheet listing Harp in a leading role, two bouquets of roses, a person wearing a witch's hat, and 3D glasses all appear in the first clue package
  • "It feels incredible to be crowned the first queen of season 8, but I am up against two new singers tonight and I have to crush this performance," she says to start the second clue package
  • The casting sheet, witch hat, binoculars, and 3D glasses all appear again, this time on pedestals
  • "I've been labeled competitive my whole life, but I don't see that as a bad thing — it means you've worked hard to be the best"
  • Says she's "always on time"
  • Her new clue for her second clue package is a CD called "Night Night"
  • "This queen lives to fight another day. But heavy is the head that wears the crown, and between me and you, it can be pretty nerve-racking knowing I have to go back into battle again," she says to start the third clue package
  • "This week, I'm trying to remind myself to have a little fun, live in the moment, and just enjoy my reign"
  • Her clues from previous packages are shown again
  • Her new clue for her third clue package is a Christmas-themed cupcake with a Santa on it: "Hey, I get royalties for these, right?"
  • To start the fourth package, she says she really wants to win because she's always been a fan of the show
  • She and her family and friends always watch the show and it's been very hard not saying anything to them
  • Her man thinks she's filming a movie, no one knows except her mom, because they're "very alike"
  • "She was a singer just like me, she's my rock. If I had a handful of people that believed in me the way that my mom believes in me, I know that I can soar so far. Because that woman thinks I can do anything, and I want to win this for her."
  • She's shown calling her mom and her package ends with her thanking her mom for being her best friend and a great example in her life
  • A golden trophy with "#1" on it, a TV remote, pictures of her and season 1's Monster (a.k.a. T-Pain) and season 3's Night Angel (a.k.a Kandi Burruss), and a portrait of her and her mom all appear in the fourth clue package

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? "I think maybe the award I won for my acting. No, no, no. Actually, the one I won for my singing. Wait, no, no, no. It's probably the one for my comedy because I got to share that with my besties," she said.

  • Vegas Night Clue: A ball that says "collaborated" on it. "You know, Nicole [Scherzinger], I always love seeing our names together. We should make it happen again soon," Harp said.
  • Third performance: "Thank You for Being a Friend," The Golden Girls theme song
  • TV Theme Night Clue: Purple mashed potatoes. "These purple mashed potatoes are almost too beautiful to mash, but, I mean, who doesn't love a good mashed potato?"
  • Fourth performance: "About Damn Time" by Lizzo
  • Thanksgiving Clue: A picture of Oprah. "So, when I met Oprah for the first time, I brought my mom with me and was going to introduce her, but before I did, Oprah said hello and already knew her name. You know you've made it when Oprah knows your name and your mom's name," she said.
  • Fifth performance: "The Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga
  • Sixth performance: "Gravity" by John Mayer
  • What's going through her heart right now: "These are people that I admire. 'A Beautiful World' is one of my favorite songs that I listen to all the time. Nicole, I've watched you since the very beginning of your career, and have admired you. I've watched you all, and it just means a lot to be validated. I've been through a lot in this industry and sometimes you forget who you are and sometimes you need people to remind you, so I thank you," she says.

Clue package:

  • "It's so special to be here tonight, but this isn't my first big premiere," he says to start the first clue package
  • "Some say this show is mad, [but] this is probably one of the more normal things that I've ever done"
  • Says he's been naked in Playboy; is part of "one of the biggest groups of all time" that has sold out the Hollywood Bowl and Sydney Opera House; and he's been a part of the Olympics
  • Says he has a cult following and a celebrity one that includes Jimmy Fallon, Bradley Cooper, Kate Beckinsale, Tina Fey, and Elon Musk
  • He says he's here to sing a song, just like that one time he did that with "the Queen"
  • A python, a Club Hedgehog sign, an acoustic guitar, a knight, an exploding parrot, a beer, and a dancer dressed as Queen Elizabeth II all appear in the first clue package

  • Which award means the most to you? "Well, I won a Tony and a Grammy," he said.

Clue package:

  • "I'm excited for the kickoff of season 8, because I promise you, this Hummingbird knows a thing or two about competition. It's in my DNA," he says to start the first clue package
  • Says he got his start with help from Shaq and a "patriotic team that felt like family"
  • "Together, we dominated the Super Bowl"
  • Says his career has been "a revelation" but he's only human and "so nervous" to step on the Masked Singer stage tonight — says it's "all or nothing"
  • A speaker, a cleat, cowboy hats, a locker room, a pile of footballs, a scoreboard that says 71 on it, a Ring Pop, and a football stadium all appear in the first clue package

On stage:

  • First performance: "I Don't Want to Be" by Gavin DeGraw
  • What in your golden trophy room do you cherish the most? "My special awards that are out of this world. They're not exactly golden, they're silver, but that doesn't mean second place," he said.

Clue package:

  • "I can't believe it's taken me eight seasons to be on The Masked Singer. I was holding out for the hosting gig, but Nick keeps having babies, so I guess he's not going anywhere," he says to start the first clue package
  • Says he is supposed to list off why he's so famous — he's a Shakespearean actor, he's done multiple "walks of fame," done movies and TV and worked with George Lucas — but he says there's lots he hasn't done
  • Says he's never thrown a chair on national TV (it was actually two chairs because he's a "passionate man"), never sold a body part for profit ("it was a charitable donation"), and never ridden a golden goose while singing showtunes, but there's a first time for everything
  • A Shakespeare bust, the solar system, a police badge, a tape labeled "Covers," and a fake hand all appear in the first clue package

  • What do you cherish more: the big awards or the small ones? "I love all the awards. Every single one. The big ones, the small ones. I have a little tiny one from my native country embedded in my chest," he said.

Clue package:

  • "It's lucky that I'm here on Vegas Night, because one of the biggest lessons I've learned is to always bet on yourself," he says to start the first clue package
  • Says he was top of the game and "rubbing shoulders with Beyoncé"
  • One day, people thought he was dead — even his own family
  • But, he got to see how others would remember him and he realized he had more of a legacy to leave, so he "started back at one" to show he is a "a scholar, a son, a lover, and a leader"
  • Says he's here to show no one has the power to define him
  • A basketball, a city street, a picture of Beyoncé, headlines about his alleged death, signs for "def" and "ense," a VCR labeled "Panther's Creed," and a cane all appear in the first clue package

On stage:

  • First performance: "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone
  • Vegas Night Clue: A globe and "victory." "Panther believes that victory isn't just about winning, victory means the world to me," he said.

Clue package:

  • "When I was 8 years old, I wasn't very popular, but I had a unique way of making my own friends and we always got a laugh," he says to start the first clue package
  • Says he and his friends set out for "the impossible dream" and to go "where few have gone before — Hollywood"
  • His family thought he had talent but everyone else thought he was a "dummy"
  • Says he proved them wrong and became the king of all pi-rats
  • He has performed in Vegas many times but not as a leading man, he says
  • A puppet, the Hollywood sign, "dinner for dummies" sign served on a platter, and "late laugh" written in the clouds all appear in the first clue package

On stage:

  • First performance: "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John
  • Vegas Night Clue: Carrot Top appears via video from Vegas with a menu for the "Pi-Rat special." Says Carrot Top: "Is it a comedian? Is it an actor? Or is it me?" "I like to think that I have something special to share with the world and you're getting a little taste of it tonight," Pi-Rat said of the clue.

Clue package:

  • "Hey, you, turn up the volume on that TV. Yeah, we're coming to you live and in color. Now sit right back and you'll hear a tale of how it all came to be," they say to start the first Gilligan's Island-themed clue package
  • Says we watched them grow up and might even consider them family
  • "They say sibling bonds are the strongest, right?"
  • They say they learned a lot from each other and they probably "taught you a few life lessons as well"
  • They're seen high-fiving and sipping on tropical drinks
  • Says they've been off the grid for a while, but it's "what we're most famous for"
  • "Tonight it feels so good to get the mummy fam back together for another reunion"
  • A blueprint for a house that says "iconic" on it, a picture of season 2's Fox (a.k.a. Wayne Brady), a copy of Tiger Pop magazine with them on it, and an admit one ticket to the cinema all appear in the first clue package

  • First performance: "The Monkees," The Monkees theme song
  • TV Theme Night Clue: "Blended Barry Bros" smoothie packets, delivered by Beverly Hills, 90210 star and season 1's Unicorn Tori Spelling. "It's good for the soul, refreshing, classic, and the smoothies are pretty good, too," they said.

  • Says he wasn't the best singer, so he tried dancing but got "beat out by Jermaine Dupri"
  • Says with the help of his mom, he figured out a unique way to get into the industry
  • "Soon, everyone wanted a dash of me in their music videos"
  • Says an "unusual offer" came in while he was "keeping up with the Kardashians," and if it wasn't for them, he might have missed out
  • A business card, a wheel of fortune that lands on "jackpot," an angel in a briefcase full of money, pictures of the Kardashian family, a sign for "accept" or "decline," and raining money all appear in the first clue package

  • First performance: "Movin' On Up," The Jeffersons theme song
  • TV Theme Night Clue: New York Fresh pizza dough delivered by Full House star Jodie Sweetin. "With a little time, you too can turn dough into your own piece of pie," he said.

Clue package:

  • "Dear Andrew Lloyd Webber, sure, you've had a few hits, but if you really want to go down in history you need to make a musical about me," he says to start the first clue package
  • The rest of the package is Maize's pitch for this musical
  • "Picture this, a young plucky ingénue with dreams too big for life in a small cornfield"
  • Says he does impressions of the greats in his hopes to be discovered
  • Act 2 is a comedy of errors, he says, where Maize moved to the city and struggled to find his place in this "business of show"
  • But, he landed the role he was born to play and the city smiles with him - "Bravo!" he yells
  • Maize says he's a "smash hit waiting to happen"
  • Lots of Broadway vibes, a microphone with "Emcee" on it, a yellow bird, several marquees for shows (one says "The Unicorn of Shows"), a mini Statue of Liberty, a telephone booth, and a calendar with a wedding cake on it all appear in the first clue package

  • Beetle has seen his "name in lights on London's West End," appeared in one of the biggest films of the '90s, and says he's got the "X factor"
  • As a bonus, he says we've definitely heard his voice before and "you've probably even yelled my name at your TV"

  • Say they were "quite the troop" and "loved playing pretend"
  • Their game of make believe turned into a "massive career" on stage and screen
  • They say they've "traveled the world, graced billboards, grazed countless red carpets"
  • "Not many people can say they've lived out their childhood dreams side-by-side with their besties, but we can"
  • They're shown dancing in a circle together
  • A pink golf ball, jeans with the word "famous" on them, a sign for Venice, a giant diamond ring, a hole in one, and people eating popcorn all appear in the first clue package
  • Their second clue package is a look back at their first week
  • "Wanna know what's better than a queen? Three queens," they say, then they fight over the throne and scepter
  • "Lambs, we gotta stay hocused… I mean, focused"
  • The jeans with the word "famous" on them, giant diamond ring, and popcorn from first package appear again
  • Their new clue is a clapboard for a movie starring the Lambs, next to a TV and roll of film
  • "On this Thanksgiving, there's nothing we're more thankful for than each other, and we've always known that even when we were little girls," they say to start the third clue package

  • Second performance: "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette
  • '90s Night Clue: A mix-tape delivered by Lance Bass. It says, "Go your own way and cruise the country with your besties! Turn those daydreams into… a reality!"
  • Third performance: "Need You Now" by Lady A
  • Thanksgiving Clue: A cornucopia that says "reunion" on it. "For a long time I didn't think that we would be singing together on the stage ever again, but I never gave up on the three of us getting back together. And it's unthinkable for us to not be singing together again for the rest of our lives. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful to all of you but especially to you both," they said.
  • Fourth performance: "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan
  • Fifth performance: "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner

  • "Picture this: flannel shirt, leather jacket, floppy hair, a killer zip code, and a catchphrase that's still permanently cemented into pop culture"
  • Says everyone needs to grow up, so he took on new roles and introduced himself to the streaming generation, but says tonight, "your mom and you" are about to "freak out"
  • A mall with screaming fans, a heart with a musical note on it, a screenplay for a rom-com, an arcade, a red flannel shirt, a polaroid that says "summer to remember" on it, and a cat named Jenny all appear in the first clue package

  • Says he has a rugged personality, lives on the road selling out arenas, and has "an appetite for destroying things"
  • He's notorious for being in some of the messiest feuds he says, as he's shown breathing fire on people multiple times
  • "I've gone the solo route but I've come here to master, master a new commitment to all you Masked Singer freaks"

  • Bride's second clue package is a look back at his first week
