Sutherlin Police arrested two individuals Wednesday, September 21st for burglary and theft after a call of suspicious activity.

At around 5:40 a.m. police received a call about a suspicious vehicle and a suspicious subject in the area of 1200 E Central Avenue.

The suspect was walking around checking doors and was seen wearing a backpack and a hoodie. The car was a white pickup with loud exhaust.

Sutherlin PD eventually located a 2002 Dodge Dakota Pickup in the area. The driver was 34-year-old Alicia Pettit and passenger 20-year-old Eli John Moore.

According to police, several items of suspected stolen property were located in the pickup.

Moore and Pettit were arrested and face Burglary and Theft charges.
