If you weren't at the Cowboy Block Party last Friday night, you missed a great time. The Chee Weez hit the stage and had folks singing and dancing all night long to a record crowd. The grove was rockin' with McNeese football fans and Southwest Louisiana residents coming out to have a great time.

Did you miss the concert? Well, you are in luck because another installment of the popular concert series is this Friday night, September 23rd. Gates open at 6:00 pm and the music starts after 7:00 pm and it's totally FREE.

The band set to rock the Lake Charles Toyota Stage this Friday night is Three Thirty-Seven. The popular regional band from Lafayette, Louisiana is coming back to Lake Charles to get your weekend of football started.

Remember that all the Cowboy Block parties are free to attend and open to all ages. The block parties are located on the corner of Common and McNeese streets in Lake Charles at the Robert Noland pavilion. All you have to do is show up, bring your lawn chair and your ice chest filled with your favorite beverages and you're all set.

New this year, all concert-goers are allowed to park in LOT A which is the blacktop parking lot right in front of the football stadium. The block parties would not be possible without Legacy Jewelers, Chick-Fil-A, Lake Charles Toyota, and the McNeese Athletic Foundation so thank you to all of them!

The Cowboys will have their second home game of the 2022 season this Saturday night when they host Mississippi College at 7:00 pm inside the Cowboy's Stadium. If you weren't in the stadium last Saturday night, the McNeese Athletic department brought back a couple of iconic traditions for game day and you can see what they were HERE.

We will see you Friday night!
