Severe storms, heavy winds and hail could return to central Pennsylvania Wednesday night after a sunny and mild day, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service said most of Wednesday will be sunny and dry, with highs in the mid 80s.
But strong to severe storms are expected Wednesday night in seven south-central counties, forecasters said. A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for Fulton, Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon and Cumberland counties.
Showers and storms are likely before 11 a.m. Thursday, forecasters said. However, scattered showers could last until about 2 p.m.
Up to 25 mph winds are possible Friday, along with mid 60-degree highs, forecasters said. According to the NWS, temperatures could drop into the mid 40s Friday night.
Forecasters said this weekend will be sunny, with highs in the low to upper 70s.
