Cynthia Watros Shares a Heartfelt Message With Her Fans
Some people aren’t always excited about going to work, but Cynthia Watros was eager to get to the GENERAL HOSPITAL studio for another day of playing Nina because she knew there was something waiting for her, courtesy of her fans. “Going to work tomorrow,” she tweeted on Monday. “My beautiful friends left me something in my dressing room… can’t wait! So grateful.”
And on Tuesday, the actress took some time before getting to work to express her gratitude to her loyal friends for their generous gifts. “I just came in,” she declared in an Instagram selfie video. “No hair and makeup — don’t judge me — but I came in early because my beautiful friends sent me stuff!”
At this point in the video, Watros leans to the side to reveal a balloon bouquet on a table by the door to her dressing room with some applause sound effects laid on top. “They’re so cute,” she gushed. “They’re like, on a little stand. So cute! Like, my whole room was filled with stuff!”
Watros then pulls a vase filled with beautiful flowers into the frame to show them off. “Look how pretty they are,” she exclaimed. Then she revealed a box of Birthday Confetti Cakesicles from Sweet E’s Bake Shop that she kissed and couldn’t resist nibbling on playfully.
“I love you so much, you guys,” she declared emotionally, trying to get her thoughts out. “Thank you for all my gifts. I just feel so spoiled and loved. And I’m just loving you. Really no words. Just know it touches me so much and you guys are these amazing people in my life and… thank you.”
Watros then goes on to specifically name some of the fans who were responsible for filling her GH dressing room with such wonderfully delightful gifts before wrapping up her heartfelt video message. “Most importantly, I just want to let you know that you are lights in my life,” she said, “and I just am so lucky to have you. So thank you!” She then signs off by blowing multiple kisses into the camera.
Given that a great number of GH viewers aren’t exactly fans of Nina right now given the current storyline, it’s wonderful to know that there are still plenty who are fans of Watros and making sure she knows she’s loved!
