PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of scam warrant calls in the area.
Officials said they received multiple reports of individuals being contacted by someone claiming to be the sheriff’s office and asking them to transfer money to pay a nonexistent warrant.

The call is reportedly coming from (606) 514-7830. The number’s answering machine identifies itself as the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department Warrants Division.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office emphasized they do not handle warrants in this manner and that anyone who receives this type of call should contact (606) 678-5145 to file a report.
