I can't remember exactly when it was, it seems like a year or so ago, that a new gas station/travel center chain announced they were moving to town and that they had purchased the property next to Guaranty Bank at the Nash Exit off I-30. Then we went for a long time and heard nothing...

Here's something...

Ground has been broken, construction is underway, and a hiring sign has been placed on the corner of the I-30 frontage road and N. Kings Hwy.

The company is known as QT, which stands for Quik Trip. I'm not sure how far and wide the company is but I know they have over 900 stores, plus distribution locations and more. I do know this much, they are located all over the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex and their reputation as a company is very good there. From what I have heard, they pay well and have good benefits.

The company website suggests they demand a lot but their employees are well rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

It’s the QT culture, and it’s what attracts everyone who works with us. Our employees are the reason people love the QT experience. Our employees work hard, have fun, and genuinely love providing great service. In return, we give them great pay, great benefits, and all the fountain drinks they can consume.

Sounds like a winner.
