ROBINSON CREEK, Ky. — Two Floyd County men were taken to jail after allegedly trying to steal a trailer in Pike County.

The trailer owner told police two men came onto his property at Robinson Creek Sunday evening and took the trailer, and cameras recorded the entire thing.

The two men — identifed as 51-year-old Terry Shepherd and 47-year-old Darvin Shepherd, both of Teaberry — were at the property with the trailer when police arrived.

Terry Shepherd reportedly told police he took the trailer but tried to return it after being confronted by the owner and a witness. He said his brother, Darvin, was in the truck during the theft.

Terry Shepherd was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, while Darvin Shepherd was charged with complicity. They were booked in the Pike County jail.
