LILBURN — The Gwinnett Police Department arrested 49-year-old Andre Marvell King, of Lilburn in the connection with the death of a 29-year-old Celeste Lawson of Bowdon.
King is charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Murder.
On Sunday, Gwinnett police responded to a person shot call on Burns Road in Lilburn at about 8:30 p.m. for the report of a person down in the front yard of a residence.
When officers arrived, they found Lawson suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medical aid was rendered, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
