2 arrested in Laurel County meth bust

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Two people were arrested Friday night after a large drug bust in Laurel County.

Several state and federal agencies raided a motel room in southern Laurel County. Finding one kilo of meth, other drugs, and a glock 19 handgun.

Amy Johnson of Corbin and Bradley Lawson of Nicholasville were charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lawson was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

They’re both in the Laurel County Detention Center.
