Slowpokes Plans Location for Memorial Dr. in Houston

It appears as though a Houston area coffee bar that offers craft brews, wine, and eats is planning a new location. Slowpokes could open in new construction at 13210 Memorial Dr., Ste. 500 in Houston in late 2023, according to a recent project filing.

Slowpokes currently has three locations across Houston—Garden Oaks, Spring Branch, and Levy Park. Slowpokes offers diners a variety of options from coffee, beer, and wine to breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.

The menu features Ethiopian, Guatemalan, and other varieties of tea and specialty coffees, as well as local brews and hand-selected wines. The food menu offers flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads. Snacks at Slowpokes are always a favorite including the Slow Dough Pretzel, Combo Meat & Cheese Board, and Churro Donuts.

According to the Slowpokes website, the brand strives to bring diners the best Houston has to offer. “Whether it’s a grab and go stop or your weekend hang out with friends and fam, the Slowpokes goal is to capture that sense of community that is found in the awesome neighborhoods of Houston,” the website stated.
