Northern Missouri girl on bicycle hit from behind by pickup

A 16-year-old girl from Keytesville, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries Thursday evening when a pickup truck rear-ended her while riding her bicycle. (KTVO File){p}{/p}
KEYTESVILLE, Mo. —
A northern Missouri bicyclist was injured Thursday evening when she was hit from behind by a pickup truck.

It happened at 7:40 p.m. on Highway 5 on the north edge of Keytesville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old girl from Keytesville was northbound when a pickup rear-ended her.
The pickup was driven by Shirley Huckabey, 78, also of Keytesville.
The teen, whose name is not being released, suffered moderate injuries.
She was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
According to the online crash report, the girl was not wearing a helmet.
