Actress, author, and activist Holly Robinson Peete was a guest on On Point with Juandolyn Stokes to promote her new book, Charlie Makes a Splash, which she co-authored with her 24-year-old son RJ; who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3.
The book highlights the power of water and its calming effects for some like RJ, who has autism. Peete spoke fondly of her son and his absolute love of water, including swimming pools, fountains, and the Georgia Aquarium, one of his favorite places.
