Troopers From KSP Post 11, London, Capture Wanted Fugitive In Rockcastle County, Kentucky

MOUNT VERNON, KY - The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Monday, September, 12, 2022 KSP Post 11 Troopers located and arrested a wanted fugitive in southeastern, Kentucky. 

Woodrow Lamb, 45 of Mount Vernon, KY. was arrested after being located in the Livingston Community of Rockcastle County.  

Charges for Woodrow Lamb include:

  • Five (5) counts of Robbery 1st Degree
  • Four (4) counts of Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon
  • Two (2) counts of Burglary 1st Degree
  • One (1) count of Assault 1st Degree
  • One (1) count of Assault 2nd Degree

This individual was lodged in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.

Mount Vernon, Ky. (January-31, 2022) – On January 30, 2022, approximately 11:30 pm, Rockcastle 911 requested Kentucky State Police Post 11 London to investigate an armed robbery.

Preliminary investigation reveals that subject Woodrow Lamb, 44 of Mt. Vernon entered a residence on Reverend Green Loop Road around 11:30 pm Sunday night and shot Damien R. Madden, 66 of Mt. Vernon. Lamb left the scene in a two door gray Toyota Scion. KY tag 008-PRC. The victim Damien Madden was taken to the Rockcastle Regional Hospital by Rockcastle EMS and is being treated for non-life injuries.

Kentucky State Police are requesting assistance in locating Woodrow Lamb who is considered armed and dangerous. Lamb is described as a white male, 5'8 tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds with green eyes. Detective Ryan Loudermilk and Detective James Royal is continuing the investigation. Kentucky State Police personal assisted him at the scene and Mt. Vernon Police Department and Rockcastle EMS.
