PHOENIX — Leasing will begin soon at a new affordable housing community in the West Valley that is finishing up construction.

Cabana Bullard, located at Van Buren Street and Bullard Avenue in Goodyear, will have 336 available units and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The complex, owned by Scottsdale-based Greenlight Communities, will feature 116 studios and 162 one-bedroom and 58 two-bedroom apartments.

“The city of Goodyear has done a tremendous job creating a livable city by attracting some incredible companies to the area and now we are thrilled to give Goodyear workers an attainable community that they can love and afford,” Patricia Watts, co-founder of Greenlight Communities, said in a press release.

Amenities of the community include a coworking lounge and fitness center.

It’s one of several Greenlight properties in metro Phoenix.

Another in Goodyear, called Cabana Encanto, is located at Encanto Boulevard and 150th Drive and opened earlier this year.

Greenlight also has communities in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Mesa and Chandler.
