ARIZONA@WORK, city of Tempe unite for job fair

ARIZONA@WORK, a Maricopa County Human Services workforce development service, and the city of Tempe will bring job seekers and employers together at a hiring event on Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tempe Public Library,
Located at 3500 S. Rural Road, the event is free and no appointment is necessary to participate in the event.
“This event features 11 companies that have job openings in Tempe and are looking to immediately hire people from our local workforce,” said Carter Ellis,Workforce Development Coordinator for Maricopa County’s ARIZONA@WORK program, in a statement. “Job seekers of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to attend this hiring event.”
ARIZONA@WORK Veterans Services representatives will also be at the event to provide specialized career support services for veterans.
Companies scheduled to participate in the event include AmeriCorps, Circle K, Concentrix, Fry’s Food Stores, Hypertec, Labor Finders, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Parker & Sons, Pro Em National Event Services, Rise and West.
Positions available through the event include customer service representatives, technical support, general laborers, family support services, CNC operators, technicians, and more. Participants are invited to walk in at any time during the event for an informal discussion with the participating employers.
