It's an event being put on by The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce in an effort to show support for local restaurants. The chamber is running a social media campaign this week, where if you post a picture during restaurant week, you'll be eligible to win a gift card.

This was inspired, last year we had a block party, and we incorporated Restaurant Week. So this year, we actually had our open house this past Friday highlighting our member restaurants and then we rolled into starting this past Sunday. From the 11th through the 17th we're running our 2022 Restaurant Week. We hope to continue it, we hope that it brings a lot of people downtown and outskirts. In Northeastern Pennsylvania we have a lot of great members, wonderful. Everybody has their own flavor. It's like the best of NEPA.
