On September 7th, 2022, at 10:30 pm Shreveport Police officers were called to the 800 block of Wyngate Circle on reports of a shooting. Responding officers located a female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Shreveport Fire Department arrived on scene and the victim was pronounced deceased.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit were able obtain a warrant for a suspect in this homicide. Investigators advised that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Michael Rachal (5/27/02) (pictured below) for one count of Second Degree Murder.

Additionally Detectives with the Shreveport Police department have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Lee “Leroy” Buckner (11/30/79) (pictured below with long and short hair). Lee Buckner is wanted for one count of second-degree murder for the September 5th homicide in the 4500 Block of North Market. Two photos of Lee Buckner have been attached as he may have changed his appearance.
